Dr. Carli Levart, DPT

Carli Levart is a Doctor of Physical Therapy graduate from Columbia University’s Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, where she pursued an advanced track in neurological rehabilitation. Her doctoral training included elective coursework in sports rehabilitation, vestibular rehabilitation, pelvic health, diagnostic imaging, and foot and ankle care. She received her undergraduate degree magna cum laude in Human Biology with a minor in Dance from Hunter College, where she was selected as a Roosevelt Scholar in recognition of her academic excellence.
Carli has extensive clinical experience in outpatient orthopedics and acute care, with a strong focus on sports injury recovery and neurologic rehabilitation. She has treated patients ranging from youth athletes to seasoned performers, including company members of Alvin Ailey and Broadway professionals. Her training includes advanced work with BFR (blood flow restriction) therapy, Pilates reformer, and functional return-to-sport programming. She also brings experience working with patients recovering from stroke, spinal surgery, GBS, and Myasthenia Gravis, combining a nuanced understanding of neuroplasticity with functional performance goals.
Passionate about bridging the gap between neurological recovery and high-level athletic performance, Carli is committed to delivering evidence-based, goal-oriented care that empowers patients to regain strength, coordination, and confidence.With a background in both human biology and dance, Carli takes a movement-based, integrative approach to therapy—blending biomechanics, neuromuscular re-education, and performance training to help patients return to the highest level of function.
Outside of the clinic, Carli is a proud mom who enjoys traveling, painting, exploring new cultures, and spending time with her family and dog. Her passion for movement and creativity continues to shape both her personal and professional life.
