Dr. Samantha Cohen, DPT
UES Physical Therapist
Samantha is a Georgia native who graduated Yeshiva University in 2019 where she earned her bachelor's degree in Biology and since then is a graduate of Touro University where she earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. During her time in Yeshiva University, Samantha played for the softball team, undergoing many injuries and strength and conditioning workouts, which really influenced her desire to complete a degree in physical therapy. Samantha is a certified pelvic floor specialist through Herman and Wallace and has treated many sports, pelvic floor, hip and low back conditions in addition to many patients with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. She strongly believes in looking at the whole person and creating a treatment plan that gets them back to their previous level and function and even more! Samantha prides herself on physical therapy through the combination of manual therapy skills and functional exercise through progressive overload. Her goal is to get patients back to their goals and make sure that they are a part of the treatment plan as they progress through.
In her free time, Samantha loves to stay active by coming up with new strength training workouts, hiking, and traveling the world. She also loves following sports, and has a passion for playing softball and cheering for the New York Yankees.
